Endowments
ENDOWMENTS provide a permanent source of income for a Jewish cause you care about most, such as the Jewish Federation’s Annual Campaign, a particular agency or even a specific field of service or specific program. Creating an endowment during your lifetime may provide an immediate tax benefit in the year the endowment is funded. Creating an endowment in your will may reduce estate taxes while enabling you to continue your support for the Jewish community far into the future.
How Do They Work?
You create an endowment with money or appreciated assets contributed during your lifetime or through a bequest in your will or a planned gift.
