Righteous Gentiles in the Hebrew Bible
Monday, November 22, 2021 @ 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM
|Recurring Event (See all)
An event every week that begins at 9:30 AM on Monday, repeating until Monday, December 20, 2021

We are intrigued by the major Jewish figures in the Hebrew Bible. But all too often we overlook the major non-Jewish figures in our own foundational text. In this course, Rabbi Schiff will examine the accounts of some of the most interesting righteous gentiles in the Tanakh. What do their lives teach us? What is the attitude of the Hebrew Bible to these non-Jews? What pivotal lessons can we learn about Judaism from these important figures who were not themselves Jewish?
COST: $55 for 11 sessions (all sessions online via Zoom)
