Melton: Social Justice – The Heart of Judaism in Theory and Practice
Confronting wrongs and instigating systemic change is no small order — but it’s an essential Jewish pursuit. This 10-part Melton course highlights the Jewish call to action and provides a practical approach for achieving lasting change. Drawing from classic and modern texts, the course explores the communal connection that compels us to support the most vulnerable.
The full inclusion of people of all abilities is a core value of the Pittsburgh Jewish Community. The cost of taking a course is never a barrier to participation. If price is an issue, please contact Cheryl Johnson at cjohnson@jfedpgh.org, so that we can make the cost of the course comfortable for you.
