What We Fund

Programs We Fund

While enhancing assets is crucial to the Foundation’s strength and stability, growth alone is not the Foundation’s objective. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of needy Jews here in our community, in Israel and around the world, through our yearly distributions, and to strengthen our Jewish community and the Jewish people.

The Foundation, in partnership with the Jewish Federation’s Annual Campaign, continues to make an impact in each of the following areas of high priority by funding critical services and innovative programming.

Foundation Grants

The Jewish Federation is looking for new creative and innovative ways to foster community development through highly impactful initiatives. Grants address one-time needs and seed new, innovative ideas to move our Jewish community forward. The most exciting advancements in recent years in our community, particularly those centering on creating a vibrant, thriving community, started with strategic grants made by the Jewish Community Foundation. Donor-Directed Giving

Anyone can take advantage of the Foundation’s low overhead and professional investment management with a Donor Advised Fund (formerly Philanthropic Funds). You control to whom your gifts go, including causes in the Jewish community or outside it. Donor Advised Funds make it easy to contribute to Federation’s Annual Campaign. Learn more.
